Daisycutter is the nom-de-bande of alt-country singer/songwriter/fiddler Sara Milonovich. Known for accompanying such luminaries as Pete Seeger and Richard Shindell, Daisycutter showcases Sara’s songwriting with a mix of lyrical directness and instrumental firepower. Roots music veterans all, they blend “…literate folk, plaintive balladry, and plenty of modern-day ass-kicking.” An upstate NY farm girl, she founded Rootstock, a festival dedicated to NY farm disaster relief. Scott Krokoff (pron: Crow-Cough) weaves elements of folk rock & country pop into confessional and compelling Americana.
