Sunday Supper: 10/13/24

On this week's "Sunday Supper" we celebrate Columbus Day with songs about immigrants by Jean Rohe, Phil Henry, and Steve Earle. I'll also offer some musical love to some artists from Asheville (David Wilcox, David LaMotte, and others) reeling from Helene's devastation.

I'll share a new election-themed song by Carla Ulbrich and fine new releases by the young guitar phenom, Billy Strings and dobro master Jerry Douglas. And as the concert calendar fills up, listen for tunes by Dar Williams, Alice Howe, Billy Bragg, Renaissance, Richard Thompson, and more.
