Sunday Supper: 09/12/21

Twenty years ago this weekend the Twin Towers fell, and our world changed forever. This week's "Sunday Supper" will commemorate that infamous day and, as important, the heroes and the healing that followed. The playlist will include both household names and relative unknowns - Bruce Springsteen, Mark Erelli, David Roth, Joe Crookston, Crowes Pasture, James O'Malley, Paul Kaplan, and Judy Kass - with music that's resonent of the monent.

Just as New York came back from 9/11, live music has come back to the city. My "On Your Radar" series returns to Rockwood Music Hall for the first time in 18 months on Tuesday, so we'll make room for the performers: Jefferson Berry & the UAC, Heather Lloyd, and Bob Bradshaw.

Much to remember a day to remember from 5-6 p.m. at 90.7 FM and wfuv.org or anytime in the WFUV Weekend Archives, on the WFUV app, or the civic-minded smart speaker of your choice.
