Sunday Supper: 06/14/20

The theme for this week’s Sunday Supper is “Togetherness.” It’s a time for compassionate people to come together to fight racism. It’s also a chance to come together for WFUV – and Sunday Supper – during the station’s first membership drive in six months (and the first for Sunday Supper since September).

We’ll “Come Together” with Michael Hedges and “Get Together” with Gathering Time’s unreleased track. We’ll take inspiration in new songs of togetherness by Mavis Staples and John Paul White with Rosanne Cash. And we’ll tap some timely songs by John McCutcheon, The Mammals, Tom Chapin and the Chapin Sisters, all of whom will be performing at Clearwater’s Virtual Revival on June 20.
