Sunday Supper: 09/15/19

This past spring, Josh Ritter’s Fever Breaks album received lots of attention from the Billboard charts, acclaim from the critics, and love from all his fans at WFUV. Four months after releasing  it, he decided to reimagine one of the tracks, “Losing Battles,” recording a new version of it with the subtle harmonies of the Milk Carton Kids. It’s available as an Amazon Original, and it’s one of the highlights of this week’s Sunday Supper.

I’ll also have new music from the David Wax Museum, Ellis Paul, Ana Egge, Molly Tuttle, and Louisa Branscomb, a beloved bluegrass songwriter who was joined by a stellar lineup, including Molly, on her album. And we’ll make time for some concert listings, too.

Lots to sink your teeth on this Sunday Supper, from 5-6 p.m. EDT at 90.7 FM and streaming at wfuv.org or at the WFUV Weekend Archives (accessible, if you want, through Alexa).
