Karen Dahlstrom, Jen McDearman and Katherine Etzel have made music together for 13 years as the songwriters and driving forces behind the 5-piece band Bobtown. As the group’s sound expanded, the three formed a side project that strips back the bells and whistles to return to the bones of their music—the lyrics and harmonies. Thus was born the Bobtown Trio. As a full band, they have released four acclaimed albums and enjoyed spotlights from NPR, No Depression and Americana UK.

Austin-born, NYC-based musician Ricky Stein writes songs that seek spiritual common ground between the mesas of West Texas and the cobblestones of South Brooklyn. Titles such as "American Dreaming," "The Great Empty," and "Night Shines On" depict city life in the modern era; "The Tex-Mex Song" balances out the set with good-natured humor. All songs are delivered with an earnest baritone accompanied by acoustic guitar, harmonica, and an affable stage presence.
