Our Band will win your heart. Steeped in the tradition of great male and female duets such as Johnny Cash and June Carter, Sasha Papernik and Justin Poindexter bring their award-winning songwriting, intimate harmonies, and Eastern-European flair to a rich Americana soundscape. Together, they have performed for audiences in some of the world’s greatest venues, from Carnegie Hall to Lincoln Center to the Smithsonian Museum of American Art. In 2018-19 they toured Poland, Germany and Estonia as ambassadors of American music for U.S. State Department. Their new album, featuring American music legend David Amram, will be released in 2019.

Terry Klein is a songwriter’s songwriter. His debut record, Great Northern, appeared on multiple 2017 Top-Ten lists and garnered praise from Rodney Crowell and Mary Gauthier. His 2019 release, Tex, has been the subject of international critical acclaim and reached the Top-20 of US Folk DJ Chart. Terry draws inspiration from musical heroes like John Prine and Bruce Springsteen, but also from literature, film, and painting. He lives in Austin, Texas with his family.

From the Spring of 2016 through June 2018, Kate Callahan served as Connecticut’s 16th State Troubadour. An award-winning singer-songwriter and advocate for the disempowered, Kate developed a pilot program called Miracle of Melody to help women inmates learn to use their voices for positive change in their lives. More recently, she has created a program called Affirming Voice through which she helps individuals discover and empower their voice.
